Your Data and Your Rights · We Don't Sell Your Data
We do not sell or share your personal information
Inappbot Inc. does not sell your personal information and does not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, nor use it for targeted advertising or for profiling with legal effects. We have not done so in the past 12 months. Since we don't sell or share, there's nothing you need to turn off; even so, we honor your browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request not to sell or share.
What we collect, why, and with which providers is in the Privacy Policy (our "notice at collection"). We don't collect "sensitive personal information" as defined by California law, except the "Read aloud" recording, which is used only to score your reading and is not kept.
Your rights (for everyone)
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Know and access the data we have about you and download a copy (portability).
- Correct anything wrong (you can fix most of it yourself in the app).
- Delete your data (Delete my account).
- Opt out of sale or sharing and of targeted advertising (already the case for everyone).
- Limit the use of sensitive data (already the case).
- Not be discriminated against for using these rights.
These rights come from laws such as California's (CCPA/CPRA) and those of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island, among others. We give them to everyone, even where state law doesn't require it.
How to make a request
- Email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy", from your account email, and tell us what you want (see, download, correct, delete).
- To protect your data we verify it's you: the message must come from the account email or we send you a code. Without an account we hold almost no data about you (your progress is on your phone).
- We answer within 45 days (extendable by 45 more if needed, and we'll tell you).
- Someone can ask for you (an authorized agent) with your signed permission; we'll still ask you to confirm it's you.
If you disagree with our answer (appeal)
Reply to our email with the subject "Appeal". We answer within 60 days explaining our decision. If you still disagree, you can complain to your state's attorney general or, in California, to the California Privacy Protection Agency (cppa.ca.gov).
New York residents
We protect your data with reasonable security safeguards as New York's SHIELD Act requires, and if a security incident ever affects your data, we will notify you as the law requires.
